Someone
says," I've heard how it was and how bad you must feel", and you slip
back in time, where it's all still too real; where images flash before
your mind's
eye, your silent screams heard only inside.
The
hot winds of war blast in your head. You whisper," No more!", but
you're back with the dead where, just as before, your vision goes red
and you
fight to control the fear.
Fear
of the beast who lives deep inside; a monster who killed, then laughed
when you
cried. Fear of the horror you see in their eyes when you try to explain
how it
was.
The
Beast, the demon who fed you those lies, still lives on the guilt which
you try
to hide.
He
kidnapped the boy who once lived inside, and still holds him for ransom
today.
So
you've learned to be silent; it's all in the past. You keep it inside
you
whenever they ask, but you know it's there, waiting to be freed once
again...
